Managing Partner

Haille obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and a Master's in sports law and business from Arizona State University before getting her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College Law. Her real estate law career began at an established Phoenix law firm and she was made partner within the first year. Haille is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully argued before the Arizona Court of Appeals. She prides herself on earning successful results, including the reversal of several lower court rulings in favor of clients. Haille enjoys following Bay Area sports, cooking, and hiking in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve with her dog Willow. Haille also works with a nonprofit that rescues dogs from the meat trade.

Partner

Sydney is a partner at Saal and Plaskett. She graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and clerked for Judge Jennifer Campbell at the Arizona Court of Appeals thereafter. She was a managing editor on the Arizona State Law Journal, and she worked for the ACLU of Arizona and the Arizona Justice Project during law school. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Denver. Sydney is an avid reader and enjoys hiking, traveling, and volunteering as a literacy tutor for elementary-aged students during the school year.

Senior Paralegal

Pamela Brimhall is a highly skilled and experienced litigation paralegal with over 15 years of expertise in both state and federal court cases. She collaborates closely with attorneys to develop strategic approaches throughout all stages of lawsuits and investigations. Pamela's responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, conducting thorough research, writing detailed memos, preparing witnesses for depositions, and assisting with summary judgment briefings, as well as hearing and trial preparations. In addition to her demanding role, Pamela finds great fulfillment in mentoring other paralegals, making it an integral part of her professional practice. Her dedication to fostering growth and development in her colleagues is a testament to her commitment to the legal profession. Outside of her professional life, Pamela enjoys expressing her creativity through sewing, crafting beautiful works of art in her spare time.

Paralegal

Tania Zavala is an experienced paralegal with over six years of experience providing comprehensive legal support across various practice areas. For the past year, she has specialized in real estate law, working and assisting with real estate transactions. In addition to her real estate law experience Tania has knowledge in assisting with evictions, helping landlords and property owners navigate the legal process with precision and care. Her dedication and attention to detail have made her a valued asset at Saal and Plaskett. Tania holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts from Phoenix Community College. With her diverse legal background and growing specialization in real estate law, Tania is committed to providing exceptional service to both the clients and legal professionals at Saal and Plaskett.

Debbie Goossen has been a dedicated legal assistant for the past eight years. Her background in the boxing business, where she promoted events, provided her with a unique skill set and a love for dynamic, fast-paced environments. This passion for excitement and her keen interest in real estate and law ultimately drew her to the legal field. Debbie takes great pride in working closely with clients, ensuring they have a positive experience from the beginning of their case to the very end. Her commitment to client satisfaction and her exceptional organizational skills make her an invaluable asset to any legal team. In her spare time, Debbie is deeply involved in charitable endeavors, giving back to her community whenever she can.
